Mission and Goals:
Housing Rights Committee's Save Section 8! San
Francisco project aims to build a broad coalition of tenants,
advocates and community organizations to fight cuts in federal housing
funds and to push for local solutions. We also provide individual
tenant's rights counseling and advocacy for tenants with Section 8
vouchers, in privately owned, HUD-subsidized housing and Public Housing.
Program components include:
- Section 8 Tenant's Rights counseling
- Policy Advocacy
- Outreach and Education to Section 8 Tenants
